Shaolin Training Tours

Shaolin Martial Arts Canada is proud to offer the training opportunity of a lifetime:

A training tour at the renowned Shaolin Temple!
Many commercially available tours will visit the Shaolin Temple for a few hours, sometimes for a whole day.

Most times, the tour companies will arrange for  kung-fu training with one of the outlying schools for a few days…

…We offer what every dedicated martial artist really wants:

2 weeks (10 days) of intensive authentic Shaolin Training IN THE TEMPLE ITSELF!

And we are not kidding about intensive.

We are talking about 4-6 solid hours of guided training and lunch with the monks EACH DAY!

THE TOUR PACKAGE HIGHLIGHTS:

Our Shaolin Temple Tour also includes visits to some of China’s greatest historical attractions.

The tour departs from the Toronto Pearson International Airport, landing in Beijing. There, we stay for 1 day to acclimate to the time zone and the local food.

From there we take a bullet train to Zhengzhou and a short drive to the Shaolin Village where we get situated in our rooms. There will be a brief orientation walk-through of the grounds and the Temple interior itself, and then then next day the training begins. On the final day at the Temple, we can hike the Songshan mountain trail and climb the steps to the White Buddha!

On one of the days, we will have the opportunity to go into town and shop for goodies at the local martial arts supply stores and sample a local restaurant. We top the evening off by attending the Shaolin Zen Music Show on their beautiful outdoor natural stage! We then reverse our steps back to Beijing, stay for 1 day, then depart back to Toronto, Canada.

This is a 10-day all-inclusive package. We stay at awesome hotels, 3 meals each day, airfare and local transportation in China, and translators/drivers (we have the best around) are all included. The only extra thing you will need is money for tipping and for any treasure, trinkets, or gifts you choose to acquire.

Pricing depends on current airfare and accommodation rates and is organized on a per/tour basis depending on seasonal timing, number of participants, and requests to do additional tour events/locales.
